Took it to Midas, suggested freon change did that no luck and Midas says they wont check and has to pay for recheck A/C
Took it to the Hall Honda dealer in Virginia Beach they said there are leaks in the pipes and pipes has to be replaced. So got that work done and right before they delivering the vehicle said it still dint fix the issue so they wont charge me for the repair but the new parts are added. The associate suggested that I get it checked outside as it costs a lot to repair in dealership
Took it to another private auto body shop paid close to 170$ for check up they said they couldn;t figure it out has to check the whole system and might replace the A/C unit or might be simple fix so quoted around 1700$
having read online it seems to be common problem and honda is aware of this but is not taking responsibility to fix the issue. it would be great if we can file a class action law suit or bring in all Honda/Acura owners having similar issues and get Honda to fix the issue for find the reason for this abnormal problem that is costing us money and the pain of living with hot air.
