sometimes I have a oil burning smell coming out of my engine when I'm driving. Also last couple of times my oil has been low in the car. There is no leak, I will go ahead and change the PCV valve and see if that takes care of the problem.

At about 70,000 miles my Accord started significantly burning oil. It burns about a quart every 1,000 miles. Seems to burn less when I'm doing more highway driving. I also noticed that my gas mileage started to drop from about 24 mpg city, to 21 mpg.
I change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles, and always change the oil filter (with OEM filter from Honda dealer). I researched the problem and found a mention about a possible clogged PCV valve. I replaced the valve, but still burns oil.
Recently did some highway travel, driving about 200+ highway miles, and did not burn oil, from what I could tell. Put another 200 miles city miles and I can already see the oil is lower on the dipstick -- may be a 1/4 quart.
