Accord EX 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,245 miles

Right front passenger side power window will no longer roll up or down. Seemed at first the window was hesitant to roll up or down. Now, it does not work at all. Also, the actually glass of the window as moved down slightly and there is now a whistling noise at times when I drive. Probably from the contact now not being snug to the top of the window (my assumption).... Not sure if it's a fuse or the power window motor.

Less than 70,000 miles and I've never had a problem with a power window on any car I've ever owned.

Accord EX-L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 92,000 miles

First the windows started rising or going down slowly. Then intermittently they would not open or would not close. First the passenger's side in the coupe failed. Replaced the regulator and it helped most of the time but then the master switch on the driver's door quit working. Had to replace that and the regulator in the driver's door and then the two windows worked just fine. Should not fail at this mileage in a quality car such as the Honda Accord V6 coupe. It is not acceptable.

The recall on driver side windows should include my 2005 Accord. The problem is apparently more wide spread than the current recall.
