paint chipping off paint chipping off paint chipping off paint chipping off

WE BOUGHT THIS CARD BRAND NEW, IT IS WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND WE HAVE BEEN TOLD WHEN GETTING ESTIMATES THAT THERE APPEARS TO BE NO PRIMER BEFORE THE PAINT WENT ON. WE WOULD LIKE HONDA TO REPAINT THE CAR IF POSSIBLE. LARGE PIECES OF THE PAINT ARE JUST FLAKING OFF AND MAKES THE CAR LOOK LIKE A JUNKER.

Can't believe the car paint is coming off. I have owned Hondas for years and never had this issue, something seems defective. Car is in a garage most nights and hood paint is peeling off.

Accord LX 2.0L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

The car has less than 70,000 miles and the paint is peeling. Dealership took pictures and submitted claim. I was rejected and they gave me the name of a re-finisher at my expense. Corporate admitted having paint issues but my case is not covered. Did not explain what caused it.

Accord LX 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 85,000 miles

The paint between the rear window and roof has peeled off. I have seen 2 other grey accords with the exact same problem. I took it to the dealership in Livermore, Ca. where i bought the car and they said They would have to shatter the rear glass to repaint the edges. And then they would charge me. I asked if there was a recall and they said no. Hmmmm? Now what do i do?

Accord EX 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

Paint is peeling in the groove above the back windshield. As you can see from the last pic this car is in GREAT shape otherwise. It has been taken care of and should not have this problem! Honda only has a 3 year warranty on paint so this is not covered. Cant afford to get it fixed so its only going to get worse. From what research I have found, this appears to be a common problem with Honda however they refuse to fix it or give owners any options. Prob wont buy another honda EVER!

I TOOK MY CAR TO BE LOOKED AT BECAUSE THE PAINT IS COMING OFF!!!! I WAS TOLD ITS WEAR AND TEAR FROM WEATHER BUT WHERE THE PAINT IS COMING OFF THERE'S NO WAY ITS FROM WEATHER. I ACTUALLY WENT TO HONDA PLACE NOT LONG AGO WAS TALKING TO A WORKER THERE ABOUT ANOTHER PROBLEM MENTIONED TRADING IT IN AND HE ASKED WHY SO I SHOWED HIM THE PAINT PROBLEM. HE SAID HE WOULD NOT CONSIDER THAT BEING WEATHER RELATED... EVERY HONDA I LOOK AT THE PAINT IS COMING OFF ALL THE WAY TO THE PRIMER. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I'M GOING TO HAVE TO PAY TO REPAINT MY CAR BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM HONDA OBVIOUSLY HAS......
