I bought a car & after driving it, I noticed & started to hear/ feel strange noises. I decided to have the car inspected & I found out that the car had a significant front-end collision & that the Honda had been partially repaired & not fixed properly. The inspectors stated that the car's accident was not reported to dmv as it should be & that is was fixed under the table, as a side job. The car dealership claimed the car had a clean title, however the title was never in the dealerships name & instead in the private owner's name still. The damage found on the car are significant & could have caused my family or I serious injury, if we got into a wreck. The damage found on the car which was not repaired properly are; significant front-end damage, a buckled right frame rail, upper motor mount is broken, a broken seam seal (which is freshly broken), there are buckles on the upper apron and the welds on the radiator support were not welded properly or painted & was covered up by the fresh seam seal. There is also the same bent rebar support on there from the damaged wreck and was rattled canned in an attempt to cover it up. I was told it is a fresh repair as the bumper, radiator & radiator support, ac condenser & fan shrouds are brand new.the dealership insinuated that they do not inspect the cars and that they just sell them right back(which is weird, why buy cars and sell them, unless there is profit)?. I then contacted the dealership, told them what happened & how they have the responsibility as a business and dealership to sell safe cars under the Oregon lemon law act & federal trade commission act (section 5). I have now asked for their business license 2 times & they will not send it to me. They are also refusing to give me my money back & only offered a partial refund, for a car that they sold knowing it was unsafe, with unsafe repairs & not reporting an accident.

Hi, my Accord's paint has been peeling since approx. 1 year after I got the vehicle. It first started with the windows, then the trunk, now it is on the top and sides and more around windows. Peeled parts around windows immediately, and on the trunk it started as small circles, which have now spread to 50% of the car- it is going to rust and there is bare body and not any paint left in these areas. I have made many attempts, all which they told me I would have to pay for the paint- including a $250 quote from the dealer for the trunk only. Recently, I took my car there for service and they took a gash out of my paint in the back bumper so I have to get the bumper painted too now. Since this is a nationwide defect it should be recalled and the cstmr should not be responsible! please help! ps- this is my 2nd Honda from the same dealer (dealer who also wont help), and im actua;;Y ready to buy a third but afraid.

I have been in and replaced my airbag sensors 3 times with the recall. After the 2nd or 3rd time I was in for the recall the lining of the roof of my car has completely fallen in and makes it impossible for me to see out the rear view mirror. I have included a picture of the roof of my car as it looks now. I should have video of the transition of events but I think my external hard drive has crashed completely. I have been in to Honda of concord in North Carolina where they have told me there was nothing they could do as far as repairing it for free and I would have to pay. Why has no one looked at a computer glitch as the culprit for the airbag sensors automatically releasing air? something has to trigger the sensor to start slowly releasing air, as I was told at Honda of South hill, Virginia where I originally had my sensors replaced for the recall. This is my first Honda & will be my last. Bought the car with 50,000 miles on it-figured we were set for quite a while. At 53,000 the transmission went-3,000 miles over warranty. Called Honda directly & after crying, begging, pleading, etc they replaced the transmission free of charge. Three years later I have a car with 110,000 miles on it. The white paint is all pitted with rust spots, the passenger side motor lock is broken & the driver side passenger window motor is shot. God only knows about the air bags!! I hate this car with a passion. My husbands 1996 Toyota Camry has absolutely nothing wrong with it at over 200,000 miles!! I can't believe Honda doesn't put out recalls on some of these things as I've read quite a few complaints about them on the internet. Obviously Honda isn't concerned about their reputation at all. I was so impressed when they finally agreed to replace the transmission but its like I got the lemon of all Honda!!!

I have white patches on my black Honda Accord. I went for an estimate (at the auto paint shop Honda uses) on a new paint job and was informed that there is no reason my vehicle should be in such bad condition. The white spots are on the hood, trunk, and roof. The dealer informed me there is no warranty and no recall for a defective paint job. The estimate started at 3500. I went for a second opinion and was told that there were 3 Honda same year, same color in for the same problem that week.

While having the vehicle in for a power steering hose recall the dealer found two broken motor mounts. My Honda Accord LX has been making a thumping noise on acceleration. Its possible that leaking power steering fluid has caused the deterioration of the rubber in the mounts. The dealer service rep says there are 3 motor mounts on this engine. The vehicle has not been driven hard since new. With 2 of 3 mounts broken at 66, 800 miles is a matter for concern. The 3rd mount breaking would cause the engine to twist and possibly start a fire or transmission and drive axles to lock up causing a crash. Other Honda Accord owners have complained about broken motor mounts on-line.

My car crashed into several wooden posts where the entire front end was damaged including the frame and my air bags never deployed.

My car crashed into several wooden posts where the entire front end was damaged including the frame and my air bags never deployed. The car was totaled and I suffered injuries which required medical treatment. I informed american Honda of this issue on 2 seperate occasions and not once did they mention about looking into a possible defect in their vehicle.

My daughter was not able to open the driver side door from either the inside or outside door latch. This really scared her so that we she walked to our house doors she was shaking. This is a 2-door coupe and she was scared and almost panicking. She asked me what was wrong with the door because she could not open it. I investigated and the remote door opener was working. Even used the manual key to try to open the door but the latch would not engage to open the door. My biggest concern was the safety issue. What if my daughter was driving and had an accident and she had to get out of the car" what if the car was on fire" there is obviously a design flaw in the way the door was designed. I went to the dealer and I was told that there were other Honda cars that have had the same issue. Again, this is a safety issue. I am not aware if the other Honda owners who have had the same problems have actually reported this. I have seen several online post complaining about this problem...
