The contact owns a 2006 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. Before the failure the contact had been listening to the radio with the engine off for approximately 30 minutes. The contact called aaa, and the vehicle was restarted. Aaa stated that the battery was designed for a Honda civic. The contact brought the vehicle to the dealer, and was told that nothing was wrong with the battery. The manufacturer has not been notified.

Consumer complaint concerning the 2006 Accord battery odors and how it affects the passengers. The consumer stated the battery was located behind the back seat in the trunk. The consumer test drove two other vehicles and the batteries were not located behind the back seat in the trunk.
