This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
The brakes were sticking severely and pulling hard. I called the dealer ASAP while driving the new car home. He asked me if I had hit anything? Back brakes were worn pretty bad on first oil change. Front were reasonably new. Front brakes should have been worn more than the back brakes. A service recall on the back brakes was issued and they fixed it for free.
However ; occasionally, I feel the brakes grab and pull again. Went to the car wash and my front right wheel let a ton of steam off when the water hit it at the manual spray wash. Not so much on the front left wheel. So I guess my front right is sticking .

Car serviced at dealership according to manufacturers specifications. When rotors wore out in 6 months they said the winter salt caused the pads to stick. Replaced brakes and took it back in 5 months to have it serviced, all looked fine. Drove 100 kilometres and brakes started sticking again.

when i apply the brakes at slow speed (almost a stop it sounds/feels like they are sticking a little and its like a clicking) It also does it when I let off the brake as well. Every time, It started 2 months ago and has gotten progressively worse over the last month.

My husband bought my Honda Accord V6 for me as a Christmas gift in Dec. 2007. One month later(Jan. 08) it was already in the shop for squeaking brakes. OMG, a brand new car already making this kind of noise. They replaced the brake pads, which fixed the problem for a month or so. I've continued having the same problem for over a year. By the way, I live 1.8 miles from my work and my sons daycare is .5 miles, so I do not do a lot of driving. Today on a 2 hour trip my car started making a horrible noise, which got worse on my 2 hr. drive back home. Very loud screaching sound....loud enough for 5 cars behind me to hear. Even when I wasn't pushing on the brakes you could still hear them. Come to find out it is def. the brakes, and we took it to the Honda Dealer tonight. I guess we will find out tomorrow exactly what it needs.

I had an oil change five days ago and was shocked hear from service advisor that both my rear brake rotors need to be cut for $289.00. I said it's impossibble, my car has only 24,700 miles. I didn't let them do the job that day. I searched the internet and found this site and surprised to see how serious my is. I emailed the service manager and sent a link to this site and asked if this is covered with warranty. My email was never answered.

Well, I guess I will add my two cents about the rear brakes going on the 2008 Honda Accord. I have about $17,000 miles on my car and I need new brakes. I called Honda of America and they were absolutly NO help whatsoever. I think we all need to band together a do something about this. There are far too many people having these problems. It's just very upsetting. I didn't expect this from Honda.

We have owned several Honda vehicles; however, I'm ready to sell this one and move onto Toyota or even buy a Buick. They don't seem to have these asinine problems with their vehicle, and when a problem arises, the repairs are far cheaper.
Honda will sink themselves with this problem if they don't come up with a quick solution, and especially quick blaming the customer for what is obviously an engineering glitch!
My advise to anyone considering purchasing a Honda product. . . DON'T. Trust me. After years of being a Honda owner, I will NEVER buy another Honda again.

Rear brake pads stick and unevenly wear, which could potentially fail to brake and lead to crash and accidents
