Accord Coupe 4L V6

I reached out to Honda America customer support and campaign center to see if there are any assistance available in addressing this safety feature only to be told that I am basically s*** out of luck. All they offered were empty, insincere apologies. I think it's sad that for a safety feature (code 83-22), there are bounds and limitations in warranty coverage. If Honda's sorry ass engineers can't design a system that will not fail and not provide support on a system that will fail well before the end of life of the vehicle, then just leave it out. Don't even bother trying to add a feature the company can not get behind and back 100%.

I have owned Toyotas that are younger than this model with similar features and twice the milage on the odometer and never had this kind of issue. My biggest take away from this is to never ever trust Honda again, and to never ever purchase a Honda again. This definitely will affect the way I view the company moving forward and never again will I set foot on a Honda / Acura dealership. Honda is dead to me and I will spread this experience with others far and wide.
