Costco says they have to replace all 4 TMPS sensors and cost is about $280. The dealer says they can replace one sensor and cost is about $150. I have not decided yet.

TPMS light came on in my Honda Accord approx. 2 weeks ago. Checked tire pressure, all were properly inflated. Did research on line and found this is a common problem. What is the fix to this annoying issue?

My low air pressure light was always coming on and sometimes the TPMS light would be on. I would get the tires checked and it would go off for a while, but it kept on happening. In April 2014 I got 4 Brand new tires and now the TPMS light stays on all the time and I have had the tires rotated once, and it's still on. The dealership didn't mention the light so I figured it would go off after the tire rotation. I've only looked online, but it appears it could be expensive. There are just too many things adding up to be able to fix all my complaints.

This TPMS light has come on twice now. Once about a year ago, then after a couple of months, it went out.
Last month, it came on again. This is not the tire pressure light, but the indicator that says "TPMS" that shows the system is not working. I wouldn't worry about it, but here in the People's Republic of Kalifornia, I won't get the car to pass the smog test with this light on. I have heard the repairs are expensive. All this on a system that I think is not needed. Wish I could just remove it.
I never had problems with my 03 Accord like I've had with this one. Unfortunately, a 740 BMW hit us amidships in an intersection and killed that car. I'm not so certain I'll buy another Honda.

The TPMS warning light will come on during highway drives. It typically starts after about 75 miles and doesn't turn off until I exit the highway and have to stop at a light. I've had it in the dealer 3 times for the TPMS issue and they can't replicate and say it's radio interference... does this make sense to anyone? This has happened on all long drives (I used to drive between Houston and Austin every week) and I now have 27k miles and it still happens if we go on a drive > 75 miles.

TPMS dash light has been on for YEARS from when car was only a few months old thru the current day! Looked online and saw where this is a Honda known defect. I took the car to dealership when the light first came on, they wanted to charge me $90 to tell me it's defective! I've also taken the car to the dealership after getting 4 new tires with light still on. They still refused to do anything about it without first charging me the $90 to confirm to me that it's defective (duh!) and then charge me more to repair a defect they know about! Absurd!
There's never been a recall on it (yet) because, according to the dealership, it's "not a safety issue". I have news for Honda! It is a safety issue and I am extremely fortunate to not be in a hospital or morgue today because of the useless TPMS light. Driving 70 mph on FL turnpike, I VERY lucky that my car made a horrible screeching causing me to pull over immediately. Discovered passenger side rear tire rubber mostly had disintegrated with steel threads showing between little rubber left all around the inside sidewall! AAA and mechanic both said it was caused by driving on tire with low pressure/tire overheating. Tires on my car are rotated+pressure checked every 3,000 miles along with oil changes (which is more frequently than the 5k Honda book shows). This TPMS light came with my car when purchased, I did NOT request it as an option. If Honda is going to put this on their cars standard, then they should make sure it works properly!
