Accord LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

The carpet pulling out from underneath the door makes the car look like a piece of junk. I have taken it twice to Honda where they have "glued it down" and it still comes back up within a week. I will not be buying any more Hondas under any circumstances.

You'd think that coming into the 21st century, that Honda could figure out just how much carpet to cut for the inside of their flagship sedan.

my feeling is that the carpet was cut to small, that's why it keeps pulling out, and i keep trying to put it back, because it looks ugly, I don't like this, I pay alot of money for this car, it's a very beautiful looking car, but this is a problem is not beautiful at all.

Accord V6

I could not believe that only owning the car for 1 month the carpet on the passenger side was liftinf from the side, and I am the only one that drives the car, I don't car pool or have kids, so that was very disappointed. I mention the problem to the dealer when I had my oil change and they fix it. Hopefully nothing else fal;l of before the year ends.

The passenger side carpet is pulling away from the door frame. I can push it back together, but it just re-occurs.

Accord EX - L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

While the car was at the dealer for my squealling brake complaint, I had them fix the carpet that had pulled out from under the passenger side front plastic door frame, exposing ragged carpet edge. They fixed it and said if it happened again they wouldn't fix it. Well, guess what? I happened again. I shove it back under with my fingers, but it really needs a permanent fix. I'm so disappointed in this car with its "we're waiting for an engineering fix" brakes and shoddy interior carpet issue. There's also a funny squeaking rubbing kind of sound coming from the back, but for now, I'm ignoring it by turning up the radio.
