When I reach a speed of anywhere from 60mph to 85 mph, a whistling sound comes from the driver's side of the car. It does not always stop when the speed is reduced. In the past, I have pulled over, turned the car off and restarted the car to eliminate the whistling sound after every other attempt to stop it failed. The sound starts as a faint but obvious whistle and continues for several seconds. In trying to remedy the sound, I reduce my speed, turn off the air conditioner, turn off the radio, and make sure all windows are closed tightly. The whistling is a pain in the but to say the least. HELP!!

Returned to dealer today,(picked up on Friday) because of whistling inside that starts at about 50 km/hr. Sounds like a leaking window, but is not. Dealer wants to say it is the Perfect Fit Bug Deflector. Does any body have an idea?

I bought the car to commute to work ~1hour each way....mostly highway driving. 1 week after I purchased the car, I noticed a whistling sound coming from my windshield. My boyfriend didn't notice it, but it really annoys me. Finally, he noticed it on the last trip we went on. I am taking the car to the dealership today to get it looked at. They said it's not a known issue, but that they will work hard to get it fixed.
With the amount of driving that I do, this problem is certainly annoying! (my car now has 13,500 miles on it... and I still have the same problem whenever on a highway/interstate--so going high speeds).

Whistling starts at 60+ mph, appears to be coming from driver's side dashboard area. Much more pronounced when outside air is cool. Noticed it on test drive, almost didn't buy. Dealer promised to fix the problem and noise was almost gone the next day when I test drove it again, so bought the car. Realized later that it was a hot day and whatever seal was leaking had expanded in the heat and muted the problem. Extremely annoying, especially on a long highway drive which is when the problem is at its worst.

Wind noise at the 60 mph+ range as indicated by others. I thought this might be an isolated incident, but there are others with almost identical issues. Sounds like a bad seal or cracked open window on the drivers side. Constantly checking that the power window switch is up all the way. It always is, but the noise continues. My dealer says that they are unaware of any recalls or issues. Told me to bring it in and have it looked at. If I have any resolve, I will re-post the outcome.

Definitely a design flaw as many complain about this and even with a windshield replacement, whistling sound still occurring - constantly while driving.
