i have owned a 93 manual accord all its life, has 300k miles now & taught 4 teenagers to drive stick with it---NO CLUTCH ISSUES! naturally, i was a loyal honda customer, purchased an 09, had 11k miles upon purchase, thought all bugs would be worked out...everything has been beautiful until..... going 70 mph on interstate, trans jumps out of gear on its own, 7000 rpm from nowhere!. took straight to selling dealership & they tell me clutch has failed & needs replacing, $1700.00, not under either warranty. spoke to finance co, dealership & dealership regional reps, no help there. guess they are getting the 09 back unpaid for. sucks it will ruin credit ratings, but, hey - i purchased with good faith the product was worthy of the $24k i gave!
