I am extremely dissatisfied with Honda quality. I had to replace rear brakes (apparently a common problem) and battery just after completing 3 yrs of warranty. I bought Honda for better quality and paid a premium over other vehicles but Honda has let me down. I feel cheated and if I do not get a good response from Honda, I am never going to buy a Honda again.

Melted battery cable wouldn't allow me to start my car, had to get it towed. Lost work hours because of this.

on my 2009 Honda accord with 29, 573 miles in 12/ 2011 i was told at car dealership after a oil change and again telling the Service Writer ( a total with this is 3rd time ) to check the Car BATTERY do to the car wouldn't start and i had to get a jump start the car beams where vary low even the high beams then the service writer told me that the battery was low but good and they will check it again after the repair for the Rear BREAK PADS that again needed to be replace the service writer came back to tell me (after waiting 4 hr) that they re tested the battery and it was a DEAD battery so i had to purchase a new one which i had to complain i just went in for a routine oil change and my total cost just for this and rear break pads where around $ 274.93 the service manager was called in and only discounted the battery . what a nightmare in total

Had to replace dead battery after my car had to be jumped on 5 different occasions. I didn't know batteries needed to be completely replaced after a year. I did not drain the battery or leave the car lights on ever. I understand if I am to blame but I am not. AAA was astounded that I had to get the battery replaced.
