Accord EX 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 101,000 miles

Well I never thought I would say this as Honda has been my car of choice since I was 16 years old, I'm on my 4th one, a 2009, and what a let down. Starter had to be replaced, then crank-shaft sensor a week later. Still is not responding well to the repairs. And oil consumption??? Don't EVEN get me started. This all started at 101,000 miles, and yup, the warranty expired at 100,000 miles. The previous 3 I have owned over the last 26 years have all gone to close to 180,000 miles before having to trade/sell, etc.......

I'm not a complainer. I hope Honda Motor Company can do something about these vehicles performances in the future. I was totally blind sided by all of this because I have NEVER had these kind of problems prior to 125-130,000 mile marks.

Disappointed. No Honda again for a long time.

Accord LX-P 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

The car didn't want to start in the morning, It only happened 2-3 times during the last 3 years. I live in northern CA, no lower than 40-50 degrees. Maybe just a crappy battery?

Accord 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

I've had the car about a year. I have had difficulty starting the car on ten or more occasions. The car eventually starts. Scheduled appointment with dealer. Dealer advised there was nothing wrong with the car. I will keep reporting every incident with the dealer to establish a record with them. This is my second Honda and it appears it will be my last.
