Traveling about 30 mph - slowing to a light, braking was difficult and placed car in neutral to help slowing of vehicle, engine rev'd up to 5K rpm. Was able to turn vehicle off after stopping. Restarted vehicle, problem went away. No carpet issue. Problem has reoccurred about once every other month. Had the car serviced by local mechanic no issue found. Will be seeing dealer soon.

Pulled into parking lot. Car surged and ran into some boulders and curbs. Car is damaged in the front and back. The fuel tank is also ruptured.
