This has been going on since I purchased the car at 34,000 miles. The wheel has been balanced and rotated and nothing has fixed it. Up to speed on Hwy car seems to be somewhat ok, but happens so consistently it's annoying and will be why I trade the car.

I don't know what all the hype is about Accords. I have a EX-L and it is the worst riding rattling piece of crap I have ever owned. I have always driven Fords and decided to give Honda a try. Boy, did I screw up. Its rattles and when you touch the brakes it makes a loud popping noise. Then the rear brakes wore out at 12,000 miles and the A/C cuts in and out. POS......

I begin experiencing the problem in the early part of 2012 while the vehicle was under warranty. I kept hearing a popping noise whenever I would take off from a stand still. I took the vehicle to the dealer in Biloxi, MS and was told that it was an issue with the lower ball joints because they had another customer whose vehicle was doing the same thing. They stated that Honda was aware of the issue and was trying to come up with a solution. I kept going back to the dealer and they never addressed the issue. I then took the vehicle to a dealer in Mobile, AL and they eventually agreed to replace the lower ball joints but wouldn't have the parts for a few days. I had accepted a job in TX and my start date was approaching so I could not wait around to have it repaired. I contacted the warranty provider and was told that I could just have it done when I reached my destination. In October 2012 I attempted to do that at a dealer in Odessa, TX. They could not get the car to duplicate the issue so they wouldn't repair it. Needless to say, I have taken the vehicle back to them on a couple of occasions but the issue will not duplicate but it does it all the time when I drive the vehicle. It has gotten to the point where I am afraid to drive the vehicle any long distances because it sounds like something is going to break. Of course, the vehicle is no longer covered by the warranty. I have owned several Hondas and have recommended them to friends and family. I am extremely disappointed that it has reached this point. I contacted Honda headquarters and was told that I would have to address the issue with the company where I purchased the warranty. I don't believe that it is an issue with them because they authorized the vehicle to be repaired but the dealer would not do it. Any suggestions on how to address this issue would be very much appreciated.
