I wondered why the sales department was trying to sell me Honda's insurance for new wheels. I found out when I parked my car too close to the curb. The alloy wheels that touched the curb were badly gouged. I never experienced damage to wheels by parking too close to the curb. The tires were always wider than the wheels.

This must be Honda's better idea/design.
