This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
I had just stopped at a stop sign and was proceeding to the next stop sign, had traveled approximately 20 feet at about 5 mph, when suddenly there was a loud explosion. It was fairly cold out.... 15 degrees, but I had this car last winter without any problem. I looked and seen my passenger front and passenger rear windows in a bazillion pieces! Both happened at the same time. There was no traffic around me whatsoever, that could have caused anything to be thrown at the windows. I went to the Honda dealership and was told they don't cover any shattered windows. I understand that you can't possibly know what could have caused this, but I know nothing from the outside of the car caused this. I had read other stories on line about windows doing the same thing, with the same results from Honda, but I thought being I had TWO windows go out at the same time, that there would be a possibility of Honda looking at this differently.... not so! Honda perhaps thinks they are saving money by not owning up to what possibly is faulty glass, but in the long run they lose. I won't buy another Honda for this reason. I am very lucky I didn't have the kids with and the glass would have been all over them, once it fell into the car. I have lost the security I once had in this car. I do like how it drives and handles.... but I need to feel secure that this won't happen again and I can't do that without changing to another make of car.
