The wipers -> were<- working when I when to work. Got in the car to come home and realized the wipers are not working at all. I sat in the car trying to figure out what to do next ... 6-7 mins go by and try them again and they work fine.

The weirdest thing, my windshield wiper didn't work when I pushed the lever down to activate the wiper. I don't know how else to put it, the wiper did not came on as I pushed the lever down to activate it...I panicked a little and pushed the level all the way down and back up to normal position. I flipped the lever couple of time very quickly, and it activated the wipers finally.
Definitively not an pleasant experience, and potentially dangerous. The good thing is I was not able to reproduce the same problem again. I still feel there is a problem with the wiper.

More than once the windshield wipers completely just do not function. They are working one minute, not working the next. Working for a month then not working for a day. We pulled out the fuse and re-seated it the first time it happened, and it started working, but then a month later, did it again. And working again. I am afraid that I'll get stuck in a snow storm with no visibility. I'm reading over $300 to fix??? Really?

Well, the wiper malfunctioned again this morning as I was trying to clear the water built up on my windshield. When I flip the control up to activate the wiper, it came up about 3 inches and stop. I tried to flip the controls up and down as I previously did, but it didn't do anything this time. I wanted to take a look at the fuses, but I was in a hurry trying to get to work.
As I gotten up to speed on the highway (about 70), it started moving again. I guest with the wind pushing it up, it somehow helped. I don't know.
It is pretty obvious that there is something wrong. I just glad this didn't happen during a storm or heavy rain, because the result can be pretty bad. Safety hazard. Should be recalled.
