Accord LX-P

The first time I reported this problem to Honda dealer sometime in early 2013, I was told that it will cost me approx USD 80-90 for one key. I said forget it and I will survive without. But this is getting worse everyday and now when I spoke with Honda dealer again, another guy told me that it may be covered under warranty since my car is less than 36K. But he found that it is now more than 36 months now so I may not have a chance. But the previous guy to whom I showed it in early 2013 never gave me that option. I am so pissed off with that guy. Hope Honda pays this off!!!!

Accord EX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

The Key remote for the car was always never sensitive. I might have to press the button 5 times for it to register and unlock the car. After about a year, the remote completely stopped working and I thought it was the battery in the remote. I took it to the store to have it replaced and when they opened it up, they didn't have a battery that fit so they just closed it again. The remote started working really well immediately without a battery replacement. However, its been a year now and its starting to act up again, it takes about 5 presses to lock or unlock the car.
