The driver side armrest on my Honda Accord 2010; is peeling , Bubbling & tearing. The mechanic at the dealership told me its because of the sun. I looked back at him with a blank stare. I park in the garage at home and at work. The bubbling and peeling has gotten so bad to the point that I am sometimes ashamed to open my car door when someone is standing next to me, afraid that them may see the ugly sight. I am the only rider in my car, this is my third accord, I am not happy but glad that others that are experiencing the same issues with their Honda and is speaking up to let Honda know that this is a huge problem. I drive 3 miles to work everyday, and i see at-least 10-12 Honda accords on the road.
I hope these messages and complaints do not get swept under the carpet... Honda doesn't want use to stop supporting them....

I have 41K miles on a 2010 Honda Accord and live in Florida. The armrest lid material (very cheap vinyl) started peeling and makes my otherwise pristine interior look so cheap with a huge eyesore. I get my car routinely detailed and this does not help. I bought the car only six months ago so I called the dealer to get turned down and stating Honda Care only covers mechanical parts and will cost almost $200 just for a new lid. Big issue on 2009 Accords http://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2009/accessories-interior/armrest_material_is_deteriorating.shtml and http://www.my8thgen.com/forums/showthread.php?5664-Armrest-bubbles-aftermarket-solution-in-the-works, 2008 Accords http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=61682.

Leather on passenger side door looks very bad and beginning to come undone. Looks like a very bad, cheap, unbelievable horrible job putting it in, looks like it was done wrong but passed anyway as if in a hurry or they did not give a crap.
