I took my car in for regular brake pads to be put on thinking I would be spending 75.00 to 150.00 AT MOST for PADS!!!!!!!!!!! The shop manager came got me and told me then showed me the calipers were busted and leaking out fluid, the simple pad job ended up costing me $400.00!!!!!!! He and his mechanic both told me that the calipers do go bad but normally SHOULD NOT HAVE gone to leaking until MUCH, MUCH, MUCH further down the road. What a coincidence, his own dad has a car exactly like mine, same make and model, 2010 Honda Accord 6 cy sedan, his too just did the EXACT SAME. Just google all the issues with Honda and their cars, and letting them off the hook and not making them fix all these problems consumers are having is not good business practice. I know my family members used to think very HIGHLY of Honda but now NOT!!!!!!!!
Honda is losing confident buyers by the days that go by, especially when a consumer is like myself, barely able to feed her kids and it takes every cent I make and can scrape for us to get by and eat, suffering greatly doing without items no American person should have to. I do not have the money to pay such prices for a Honda, insurance, etc then turn around and have to pay unexpected costs to repair this car, one thing after another. Just because Honda is trying to get richer or skimp on cheap and sub quality parts, or untrained workers or what ever their problems is now"??
