customer- Purchased my 2010 Honda Accord in March 2014, from a local dealership,...by June of 2014 we had all 4 new tires put on bc there was a constant shaking in the front end, (new tires) DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, in July 15' heading for family vacation on 95 VSA and service engine light came on, we had it towed to closest Honda dealership spent approx $360 for a cylinder 3&8 I believe misfire, and new spark plugs, was told motor was burning extreme amount of oil, and in November 15, check engine light came on, was on our way to garage when the motor shot a piston through the block,...this vehicle has given me nothing but problems and has been a money pit on top of a $300 a month car payment and $100 car insurance payment. If in PA STAY AWAY FROM APPLE BWM, HONDA, SUBARU, while looking up my VIN # there had already been a claim on the motor of my vehicle that I was not informed of in 2012-13? during purchase also did not receive owners manual, IM NOT SURE IT IS JUST MY CAR BUT I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND PURCHASING A HONDA ACCORD,

After being left stranded twice, the battery is good, the starter and alternator are fine and telling the dealership what they need to do is like a joke. They said "Um, yeah, Um we'll take a look at it" - Look a little harder! This is the 5th Honda we have owned and it will be our last. Had to replace the rear brakes at 21,000 miles and have the rotors skimmed because my VIN # is not in the class action lawsuit list. The rear passenger door wont open from the inside. As soon as we get our car back from the dealer, we are having it detailed and putting a FOR SALE sign on it. I will NEVER own another Honda, even if they gave it to me for free. Oh and did I mention that the man that sold me my car was arrested 3 weeks after I bought my car. He was the sales manager and is nowhere to be found. This car has other issues such as the fact it hates to go over an overpass on the freeway and when it does it squeals like a pig. I have a lemon. There are SO many problems with this car and yes I only asked them to fix 2 of the many problems so we can unload this piece of junk.

2010 Honda Accord engine shut down while driving along with the dashboard instruments going completely black. Truck traveling behind me nearly missed hitting me and we avoided a very serious accident. Car was towed but Service dept. at dealership can't duplicate the problem therefore it's not fixed. Only owned the car for 48 hours. Honda customer service called and said I had no choice but to continue to drive the car even though the problem has not been found and the car has not been fixed. They refuse to replace the car with another one. I am now forced to drive a car I feel is very unsafe.

I leased a 2010 Honda Accord EXL and two days later as I was driving down the highway the engine suddenly shut down along with the dashboard going completely dark. The truck behind me nearly missed hitting me and I avoided a serious accident. The car has been back at the dealership but I am told there is nothing coming up on the computer indicating a problem. There is obviously something very wrong. A brand new car with less than 100 miles on it does not just shut down.

Brought car in for recall (misfire piston). Car died on me and was told this was the problem. Timing belt was not checked. A few months later the belt snapped doing massive damage to the engine which needs to be replaced. Timing belts in Accords are recommended to be changed a 105K miles or 8 years according to the Service department at Curry Honda. This is a defective part (according to them) and I want everyone to know so that no one gets hurt driving that car. My teenage daughter was driving when the engine cut out on her. Fortunately she was not hurt. Now trying to decide to repair this or just dump the car.
