I took my car for it's scheduled oil change B1 Service and informed the Rep, of the noise, since I sent an email previously to the service manger in May and never received a response. The service rep, charged me for a diagnostic fee even after I gave them the service bulletin number. SB-10056875-8211, A09-010. I was told that the Warranty Claim Information did not apply to my vehicle, despite my vehicle being a PZEV 15-150K warranty. I was told the cost for parts and labor plus diagnostic fee was going over $1700 but they were going to give me a discount of $400 totaling a little over $1300.

I purchased my 2008 Honda Accord with only 32000 miles on it. Within a month it started making noise when the car was cold. It would last about 2 seconds and wouldn't do it for the rest of the day. I took the car in and they gave me a run around that I'm not driving the car enough...... I only live 3 miles from work...... so I'm not giving the engine enough time to warm up.... Needless to say they gave me the run around. Now my car is at 45000 miles and it makes the noise every time I start it.... it's very loud and very embarrassing...... I did my own research and there are so many complaints. There are even videos about the vtc actuator. This is what everyone is complaining about. MY dealership says my warranty will not cover my car unless engine light comes on or my car doesn't start.... So what the hell sense does it make to let the engine go...... instead of fixing the problem...... I will never ever ever buy another Honda again;..... I will never recommend to anyone either

Not even 3 yrs old, and the car is vibrating at a stop light. If Im on an incline its even worse. It sounds exactly like the condensor is kicking in but its not the condensor since its in the off position.
I took the car to a mechanic, and his conclusion after a quick inspection was the motor mounts. I then took it to my mechanic who said its not the mounts they look good and there are no leaks.I now went to the dealer who concluded there was nothing wrong with the car and said the vibration is normal operation. Why is this happening??Is it the transmission? Help!!

My Honda Accord 2010 has a humming noise that is coming from the tension bearing. The engine does not sound normal.

I have purchased a Honda Accord 2010 Lx 2.4 V4 Auto last month. Mileage is less than 400mile. It is very new. I start having vibrating sounds from my engine. It is not too loud but the engine sound definitely changed and not smooth. My engine makes some annoying vibrating sound, and my handle shakes more than before. It is not quite smooth as it must be from new car. It is less than a month car, and mileage is 400miles. This engine is something wrong.

About a year after I bought this car a noise came from the engine. Now the car has 178,000 kms. still has the noise. It is not annoying but It was not there when the car was brand new. I haven't had problems with the engine yet.
