I bought this car from a small dealer on 07/13/13. The first time I drove it on a throughway on 07/15/13. I noticed a vibration coming though the steering wheel and seat at speeds above 50 mph and on smooth pavement. The dealer replaced the front and back brakes and rotors. I still noticed the vibration after that and the dealer replaced all of the tires and performed an alignment. I still noticed the vibration but they did not so I brought it to Honda dealer who claimed a front tire and a back tire was out of balance and it needed an alignment, even though I had just had this done. I had the Honda dealer do the re-balancing of all tires and the alignment. It improved slightly. I told the Honda dealer I still feel a vibration so they sent a technician with me who confirmed the vibration coning from the seat starting at around 50 mph. The Honda technician said it could be a characteristic of the car and so we drove two other 2010 accord 4 cyl and they both did it also. The tech said there is nothing he could do as He had this issue before with another customer(s) and Honda Corp engineers claim their is no defect and that it is a "characteristic of the vehicle".
I am not happy about this as I worry it might not be safe and it very annoying and I know of no one who would want such a characteristic. I was also charged all these diagnostic and balancing fees even though I left with the same problem I went in for.... I am not happy and do not know what I can do.

Let's just say that i'm dealing with Honda Canada directly and they have no clue on what could be causing the vibration/jerking problem in the steering wheel. On top of it, it's intermittent. So that makes it even more difficult for them to find the problem. It's been like this since brand new...got it 7 months ago. I just wish they'll fix the problem or take back the car and give me a new one...(i'm on a 4 year lease)

I hope the dealer will find a solution to this problem. The car is still under warranty

Had a rear brakes replaced and fronts inspected. Then I noticed a steering wheel vibration at speeds above 60mph that you can actually feel in the seat. Took it back twice and they rotated the tires and were not able to feel or diagnose the problem. Took it to another dealer and they felt it might be a warped rotor, but I could never feel it in the pedal and they were somewhat puzzled too. I passed on replacing the brakes. Replaced the tires at 60k my cost with no luck. Took it in for an oil change at 77k to the offending dealer who noticed the steering rack was leaking and it needed to be replaced. I'm thinking the steering rack failure is not the cause but a symptom of the vibration which they still have yet to figure out where its coming from. It seems to occur on flat sections of road with ECO on, either in or out of cruise control between 60-65mph.
