There's a 50 -55 mph axle/gear whine on deceleration loud enough to hear. I have contacted the dealer where I bought the car and american honda in Torrence CA and they say this noise is :"NORMAL" for the vehicle.
It makes a $33K car sound like a piece of junk, and it is very annoying since the noise is at 50 55 mph which the speed limit in most places aornd where I live.
The dealer pretend that the problem is tire noise but I have contacted two(2 )different certified independent mechanics that the problem is gear noise. I think that the solution is to fix lash in gear set or replace transmission.
