When I took my 2011 Honda Accord in to have the oil change, they also told me I need a new CV joint/axle. I just bought the car in Feb. 2015 and it only has 49,900 miles on it. My last car was a 2002 Honda Accord and I had just replaced both axles before I traded it in. Many years ago I bought a Honda Prelude and it also had CV joint issues so I replaced one and then traded it back in after only a few months of owning. Seems to be a notorious issue with Hondas. I was given an estimate of $230 to fix which is money I do not have since I just bought it.
