10 hours after the car was last driven or touched, the door spontaneously caught on fire. It seems the spark came from the door locks and power window master switch area. I have video of it happening. It burned for nearly 10 minutes. The entire door is almost completely melted.

I keep hearing whining sounds under hood. I initially thought it was power steering because it was a little low. However, after topping it off, it continues and sometimes get even louder. I have also noticed cracking sound from wheel when driving. It's really noticeable when roads/streets are uneven. It sounds like wheels are going to roll off at any time. Dealership told me my driver side map light needs to be replaced. However, driver side map light works on rare occasions. I also noticed that light on driver side visor seems to have a short. This is very disturbing. I owned a 98 Honda Accord and never had these issues for 13 years. I noticed there has been recall for certain 2011 Honda Accord for suspension issues. Why is this car not included?

Hi, I purchased a Honda Accord (exl, V6) of 2011 model. I and other family members experience headache whenever we use the car, mainly for long drive (say, more than 2 hours). I think its due to its new electronic noise cancellation system (that Honda installed in its Accord models around 2010) and high internal cabin noise, particularly at higher speed. Honda reconfigured the noise cancellation system in its 2013 Accord models. I reported the issue to Honda technical service and two Honda dealers. None find/acknowledge any issue with the car or with its noise cancellation/sound system. I wanted to inform your organization with an aim to know if that can be considered as mechanical malfunction (for this particular vehicle) or manufacturing defect of that particular Honda model and if I am entitled for refund. I brought the car used certified with 6,800 miles. After a week of driving, the car feels like it has a mind of it own, I don't have full control of the car. Every time I hit a bump the car will swing left and right. Or when I'm going over 55 mph on the highway, the car moves left and right by it self. Something feels loose, I was driving local on 11/25/12 and made a left turn, the engine just shut off on me, I took it back to the dealer and the dealer found nothing wrong with the car or with the suspension. My friend have the same problem with his car, the suspension on the 2011 Honda Accord SE don't feel right.the problem needs to be corrected, I have a 2 year old and a new born in my house that goes in and out of this vehicle. I don't need to wait until something happens for the dealer or manufacturer to fix the problem.

While driving at freeway speed (65) the engine would just lose power with no warning!! its been to the dealer three times now for this same issue. Now no one in the family wants to drive the car. Its just too nerve racking to guess when the car will lose power, or trust it for a long trip. The last time this happen we were almost hit by a truck as we were trying to get to the side of the road.

I purchase a Honda Accord 2011 on 2/18/2011. I always get an oil change very 3000 to 4000 miles. The second time I took it in for oil change the tech told me there is a leak in the main rear seal area and that they need the for about two days. I didn't mind it due to that fact it was not the major repair like touch the engine, but soon after I receive a call telling me that they need to change the short block of the engine that's when I got concern. It a brand new car with a new engine and they already to place the short block engine ! I was upset. I only have the car only for about 3 month not and now I'm paying note for a new car but driving a rebuilt Honda Accord 2011. And the best part of my car now is an the steering wheel starting to shaking a little when it comes to a complete stop or in park. Remind you my car was in for repair on 5/25/ to 6/8/2011 and the shaking started on 6/9/2011. I contacted the dealer and Honda to see if they can get me in to another car, same model and everything. They both told me that can't because the car was a few month old and they would loss some money and once you sign that contract your sol and it not their problem.but they are willing to give me a accessories for that car for customer satisfaction. I guess one year from now when I when my car brake down that accessories would do great help. Lol. No more Honda for me!!! customer ser. Suck. Here is a list what they did to the car: "check and report on oil leak at engine area.troubleshoot oil leak. Inspection indicated oil leak at rear main seal area.R/R transmission and inspect reare main seal= dry. Inspection indicate leak at engine block assembly. Re-install trans. Remove engine/tran assembly from vehicle. Replace engine sort block assembly. Replace all related gaskets and seal. Evacuate and recharge A/C system add coolant/ road test vehicle.".
