"takata recall" I've taken my Honda Accord to the dealership several times and they are still the same ones from when I bought the car. There excuse is that they don't have the new replacements in yet! same words from the dealership for the last 3yrs along with the inside lighting hasn't worked since 2011.

Our car was making a left turn and was struck by other car in the right front. One passenger was in front seat. The passenger air bag fully deployed preventing her from impacting windshield.the driver air bag only partially deployed (approximately 1/3 size of passengers). The driver was severely bruised by seatbelts.

I purchased a new 2011 Accord ex-L and after 6 months of light driving (city and hwy) I noticed a shimmy/shaking in the steering wheel. I took the car back to the dealership 5 times for this issue and they replaced one tire and one wheel, balanced the tires numerous times but they were unable to resolve the issue. Now the dealer refuses to acknowledge there is a problem saying it is not a big deal and that all Accord have this issue. I even met with the factory rep and he noticed the problem but said that Honda and dealer can't resolve it as it is not related to tires, wheels or drive train. But could not offer any explanation as to what causes the shimmy saying the shimmy is "normal" and it's not a big deal. I've asked for a new set of tires and wheels but they refused to do it saying they can't afford the cost and it will not make the car drive differently. Very disappointed with Honda and dealer.
