AC went out, not really sure when, the only time I put AC on in my car is when I'm transporting an older client. Went to dealer who wanted to charge me a lot of money just to tell me what they said they already knew; that a rock hit something and end of story. I questioned why he answered so quickly with his opinion and he said there's a lot of this same complaint. I asked if they considered this a design flaw? Of course not, it is my driving habits that caused it.

I went to a private mechanic who fixed it for less than I would've paid the dealer to tell me what was wrong, and then fix it. About $500.00 less. Car is too new to have this problem and so many others.

A/c stopped working. I took it to dealership I purchased the vehicle from. They told me a small rock had damaged the condenser. Technician had circled the area of the condenser that was damaged and stated it was a small leak. The cost was not covered by the warranty due to so called road hazard but it seems several vehicles have suffered the same fate. Cost to repair was quoted to be around $632. Seems to be a problem with the design since this seems to be cropping up.

Same problem as others on this site, a small rock put a hole in the AC condenser after only 17K miles. This was not covered under warranty. There must be a design flaw with the placement and /or protection of the condenser for this to be happening to so many people.

Here we go again with yet another problem with my Honda Accord. I have to bring it in to another place to figure out what is it this time. In Florida you need your AC. I am hoping for the best. I refuse to use a Honda place cause they rip you off! My AC just started to blow hot air and no cool air.
