problem #1

Here are the third and fourth time the brakes stopped working.

The problem occurred again TWICE in the morning of February 26, 2014 when my husband was driving my son to Robert Frost Middle School on local road. Snow started about an hour ago and the road was slippery. The first time, he was exiting the neighborhood, there is a slight turn to the left and a small downward slope, and applying the brakes could not stop the car even though the car was moving at around 10 mph. The second time was near an elementary school. Since there were cars around them on the road and children walking on the sidewalk, he was going at about 10-15 mph. Even at that speed, when he wanted to stop at a stop sign, on a straight road without an incline, the car pulsated (assuming ABS started) but did not stop and did not even slow down.

In all of the four incidences, the wheels kept running, not sliding on the road.

I took the car back on Friday, February 28, 2014, for inspection again. The standard diagnosis did not find any issues with the car. The dealer suggested to replicate the problem on slippery road and it happened that a snow storm came on Monday, March 3, 2014. But they didn't test it before I called them third times on March 5 when all snows on the road has melted.
