Honda Accord 2012. Bought it used from a dealer - I have had it since 2015. All miles are highway miles. I don't drive it as much on the street. Anyway, it recently started to shake/vibrate when I hit the gas between 60-70mph. The shaking stops at about 69-70mph or if I let go of the gas between that speed. The mechanic told me that the tires needed rebalancing. I had them balanced and rotated, twice.
The problem persists. I went back to the mechanic, explained how the vibrating starts, and told me that it's a persistent problem with these cars that are front wheel and that I needed to change the front bearings. It would cost me about $700-800. THAT'S A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY!!! Would Honda ever pay for this? Probably not.
