The contact owns a 2012 Honda Accord. The contact observed at different times, especially when making turns, that the steering wheel would violently shake. It was diagnosed that the rack and pinion boot needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
