Accord EX-L 4 cyl

I had a great deal of trouble with a 2004 Accord due to battery issues. I soon discovered on Car Complaints that other 2004 owners had exactly the same issue. Honda dealer continuously told me I had a 'bad battery' which was NOT the case!. I thought Honda had a fairly reliable reputation, so I traded in the 2004 Accord for a 2012 Accord. 30,000 miles later, I have already had three issues with this vehicle. So far they have been covered under the warranty. I wonder what to do when that warranty runs out.

I don't make it a habit of purchasing major items that are going to REQUIRE the use of an 'extended warranty' to keep me out of the poor house.
