This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
Warranty ran out May 10 2016 so this problem has occurred prior to the warranty coverage lapse. However I only discovered it in June 2016 when I needed the air conditioner.

The condenser will have to be replaced at a cost of about $900.00 I will not be doing this.

Since I purchased the car, the air conditioner never worked efficiently. Now it does not work at all in the hot weather!

Read that this is a common problem with this model due to position of the compressor. Apparently it is exposed and susceptible to being damaged by rocks or road debris. Honda will not accept responsibility. Taking car for service tomorrow, if they won't fix under warranty, I will trade car for something else. This is my eighth Honda and find this inexcusable.
Update from Jul 23, 2015: Brought car for service and they said that freon leaked out and they are not sure how! A/C is working for now.

I have owned this Honda for just over a year. I bought the 120K extended Honda Care Warranty. And apparently a rock hit my a/c condenser and cracked it, allowing all of the toxic refrigerant to seep out. I was told this was considered a "collision" and that it would be $500.00 to fix, and since it was a collision, none of the warranties covered it. Basically the way I see it, the condenser is poorly constructed and at anytime can become ruptured by a pebble, poring out a toxic refrigerant into the streets, leaving me sweating my ass off. I think this is a design flaw. If a rock/pebble can hit the condenser and spill out dangerous liquids, then it should be protected to stop the leaks, lest you find your child playing in a puddle of refrigerant.
The response this is a collision, is just sad. I have driven hundreds of thousands of miles, averaging about 120 miles a day, and never had this problem with any of my other cars( Toyota's, Fords, Oldsmobile's, and Lexus). The first new car I buy, makes it just past one year and starts to fail, leaving me sweating on my way to work, and dripping on my way home.
Thanks Honda. Last car I buy from you. And I will buy an after market replacement since yours can't seem to hold up. Sad part is, on a 2013, just over a year old, they have ton's of these aftermarket and it can be repaired in a day. You can't even get the part to the dealership for 3 days.

After two months my a/c starting blowing hot air, called the dealership to bring it in and the service manager said it was probably a rock hit on the condenser. I had never heard of this issue and subsequent research shows no other dealer having this type of issue, other than Honda. It cost me $600 to repair as it was not covered under warranty and could happen again at any time. It is an obvious design flaw or cheap part that allows for a common pebble to break it. I noticed when I looked I could see two major pebble impacts in two months of driving. I don't drive on unpaved roads, just normal city driving.

Triple digits outside and the AC on my new Accord follows suit with the outside temp. I wanted to go back to the stealer (dealer) and just say "please let me borrow a car that has the AC working" but that would have been so ridiculous from my part. Anyway, I waited it out and the problem persisted for the next six weeks. Took the car to the dealer for its first oil change and told them about the problem but they couldn't verify it. They told me to bring it back when it happens again. I am so disappointed because that is not the only problem with it.. I am also having problems with the Bluetooth connectivity, Front Collision sensor not working properly, hard transmission shift from P to R or to D, and needless to say... The premium audio on the EX-L V6 W/Navigation sucks major butt.. Ok I feel much better now. Please send me an email if you are having the same problems and have resolved the, somehow. Suazo out.

Because of front scoop design and lack of protection, the condenser was damaged by road debris. Dealer would not allow non-Honda protection to be installed. The fix that I installed after new condenser was a $25 screen mesh between front air scoop and condenser! After reading of the number of complaints, and similar issues with the Odyssey, I think Honda should reimburse the labor portion of the repair! $600!
