Radio would dim and not receive any am/fm/bluetooth signal nor display any connection to my phone. No sound. I turned off the car and when I restarted, the "problem" went away. This is the 3rd time in past two months. I've owned the car for 5 months. Seems to be a wonderful car otherwise.

Update from May 16, 2016: I took my accord back to the dealer that I bought the car from. They called the local honda dealer who said bring the car over now if possible. The car was still under 3 years old. The honda dealer "Updated the EPS controll unit". A hour and a half later I got my car back. No charge. Only time will tell if it fixed the problem. I have been a honda owner for the past 16 years (Civic and CR-V).

Yes Another Brand New 2013 Honda Accord EXL-V6 with Many Problems ...

It is So--ooo Bad, I had to Wait 'Weeks' for a Honda Rep to look over my new car.

I wrote down on paper 2 Important Questions - 1. How did this car 'Pass Honda Inspection' at the factory? (never received an answer) 2. I asked for my car to be 'Swapped-Out', or 'Exchanged' for Another One?

No New Car should be sold to the dealer and then passed on to a customer with a Long Laundry List of Issues and Problems. I have previously purchased 7 or 8 New Honda's without significant issues, this one is making up for all of them... Again, How Did It Pass Honda Factory Inspection?

As you all guessed - Honda 'Refused' to Exchange Cars and I was put in a Hertz Rental for approx. 2 weeks now 'Without' my 'Brand New Car ... I was told the dealer would order new parts (I was sold this car with many Interior Parts and Trim with large 'Tool Markings' in the Trim, Scratches and Rubbed-Out Marks - they replaced the whole back of the car, replaced the center council, replaced the door trim, remounted and reset the driver's seat and replaced the floor mats, (as the floor mats wore-out after 2 weeks). --- (I asked for my 2008 Accord floor mats back, as they were in better condition after 5 years use) - Afraid the New Replaced Floor Mats will also wear out quickly.

I have taken the car into service twice for 'Wind Noise' - now it is the 3rd Time ??? they got some of it corrected -but- it is still noisy - my old 2008 Accord was like Being In A Quiet Dream compared to the wind noise of the New 2013 Accord.

Paint --- there is a white substance that is very small like freckles - 'All Over the Paint', on the roof, body of car and in both front door jams. When you try to take it off, it scratches the Paint --- Honda Rep told the dealer to send it to their 'Detail Dep't' - the car came back detailed and waxed but they 'Could Not' get out the white substance freckles ??? PLUS --- the paint looked like the car has gone through 100 car washes, when in fact it 'Never' was taken to a car wash - I washed the car by hand only 2 or 3 times, very carefully. (That is when I first saw the white substance freckles all over the car ... they are so small you cannot see it unless you are close-up but they are everywhere). YUK the paint has 'Swirls Marks' all over the body of the car. Again my 2008 Honda Accord's Paint looked better after 5 years and a 100 car washes, than 2013 Honda Accord after a few weeks - I don't understand how the Paint can be So-ooo Bad after a few weeks and where did these white substance freckles come from ??? How did this car 'Pass' Honda Factory Inspection ???

Then there is that strange 'Buzzing Noise' - like a Electronic Noise that comes and go Randomly - lasting for 15 - 20+ seconds and goes away. It goes through the electronic system somewhere, can't pinpoint it and can't replicate it when I take the car in - the dealer says, if we cannot replicate it or hear it, then we can't fix it - Where does this leave me ??? I even heard it one time coming thru the phone system while I was talking.

The Honda Rep said all the Interior Trim Parts will be Replaced including New Floor Mats, the driver's seat will be fixed and re-aligned so not to rub-out the center council - Paint will be sent to the Body Shop, the front hood will be Re-Painted and the body shop has the latest - greatest machines to get rid of the white substance freckles in the paint and be able to correct the swirls in the paint. The door jams will be covered with the new style metal 'accord-lights' on the door jams to cover-up the white freckles there.

I got the call to pick-up the car tomorrow - everything has been fixed, corrected and re-painted, --- Honestly I am Scared --- How Happy would anyone feel to drive a 'Brand New Car', that a lot the car has 'Replaced Parts' and has been out of the 'Paint Shop' partially repainted, that has 'Never' been in an accident and who really knows what else has been done to it ???

Whatever they did, will the paint stand-up this time? or will I have to take the car back again? Hope they corrected the wind issue and buzzing electronic noise ? - if there still is issues, besides taking it back to the dealer for repair, what else can I do? , where can I go from here, as mechanically the car is sound?

I would really be happy if they just exchanged cars, I am very worried what else is wrong with this car that I have not seen or found, (as I am 'not' a mechanic), and worry how is it going to stand-up to time?

This is a Honda, close to top of the line model - they should be ashamed of selling a car like this and forcing a customer to keep it and 'Not' Exchanging It --- 'How did car Pass Honda Factory Inspection' ?

Audio (for phone) frequently drops out completely using the Bluetooth. Sometimes, the whole sound system then locks up, and I can't adjust the volume at all, except after I restart of the car. I did delete the phone and then repair, but it failed to eliminate the problem.

I've only the had the car for 5 days, so it's clear there is a serious problem with the electrical system. I can only hope that Honda pays attention to this ASAP!

The radio/audio system does numerous strange things, like no sound and distorted sound sometimes. Other websites report this no sound and distorted sound problem is related to the Bluetooth and Hand Free Calling feature. Sound randomly mutes when switching source from FM to AM to XM. Must turn audio off/on to get sound back when it mutes. But, had to stop and restart car to get the audio distortion to clear up. Also, "No Disk" randomly appears on car display when starting car, even though I've never inserted a CD into the drive.

Update from Jan 17, 2013: Update as of Jan. 2013:

American Honda contacted me within days of sending the letter to them. The Honda rep told me that new software for the audio and cell phone hands free link system is due for Jan. 2013. Contact the dealership to learn more and to schedule an update.
