Accord Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,000 miles

I purchased a 2013 Honda Accord Sport brand new. About nine months after the purchase my screen started malfunctioning. Some times half of my screen would turn black and have vertical strips on it. Other times the entire screen would turn black and have stripes on it. The problem would sometimes correct itself if I turned the car off & back on again. i took the car to my local Honda dealer & I was told that I must bring it in when the screen is black so they could diagnose it. That was hard to do since it happened randomly & often times when the service department was closed. Finally, I was able to video the screen malfunctioning & the service department accepted that. The screen was replaced under warranty & I have not had any issues with the new one. However, my starter and battery have been replaced under warranty since then. My car stalled on me unexpectedly both times. 3 issues in 2 years is a bit much for a brand that has a reputation of being reliable.

I bought my 2013 Honda Accord Jan 12, 2013. A week later my screen had all these different color lines on it. This went on for a week, couldn't see my screen at all , just black with all these lines. Took it to Honda and they said it needed an update. Now here it is, a year later. Guess what?? lst 2 days...BLACK SCREEN with squiggly color lines. This is RIDICULOUS. Taking it back to the dealer AGAIN!!
