Accord LX 4 cyl

  • CVT transmission

Noisiest vehicle I've ever driven in my 50 years of driving. Even a 30 year old Yugo is quieter than an Accord. How can Honda excel in so many areas and fail so miserably on the easy things?

Accord EX-L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,000 miles

The wind noise on this car got a lot worse after I purchased it brand new. After three trips to Honda for service, I was advised that the sound is inherent to the car and is not a defect covered under a prior TSB.

This issue remains unresolved as Honda refuses to acknowledge a problem. Honda support is terrible. And it's engineering apparently has been outsourced to engineers that are hearing impaired.

Accord EX-L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,000 miles

We own a 2013 Accord EX-L V6. It has started to develop an increasingly loud air leak in the front door area of both the passenger side and driver side at speeds above 35 mph. The dealer informed us that our VIN is not part of the technical bulletin that called for replacing the door seals. So they cannot and will not do anything.

Honda needs to address the problem. It has become so bad that we are thinking about trading the vehicle for another brand at the end of the year.

Honda has a TSB on this issue. The car clearly has a defect. On the drivers side there is a great deal of wind noise when traveling at 70 mph or more on the highway but not on passenger side. Honda's TSB does not cover my vin so they say "sorry, your car has no problem" despite the fact that all of my complaints are addressed in the TSB they issued. Clearly Honda is either being grossly negligent and should be held legally liable for this problem or they are refusing to acknowledge that other accords are also affected by this problem. So far it seems legal action is going to be my only remedy i.e. complaint, mediation, etc...

This is getting annoying and NOISE IS GETTING LOUD. High wind noise (high pitch) coming from front passenger side windows. I've went to the dealership THREE TIMES (today) and still unable to fix the issue. This is the THIRD COME BACK!!

Noise start occurring approx. 40 MPH and above. I drive on the highway everyday and this loud wind noise is giving me a headache. It is even louder for passenger who sit at the front passenger seats. I believe that the door is defective. HONDA, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I've been a Honda fans for more than 10 years and never been this unsatisfied.

I've taken the Accord back to Katy Honda where I purchased it, on three separate occasions to get this addressed. They say the noise is coming from the mirrors, when you can hold your fingers against the gasket inside the car to reduce the noise. Sounds like my window is partially down. I feel like I purchased a Jeep with plastic windows.

This noise issue is covered by Honda warranty. Corporate office in Gardena (Troy)

at tech-line support instructed my dealer to order the front left and right side center pillar garnish for each door. Ref. PN 72430T2FA01 & 72470T2FA01. The garnish parts are on order from Honda due to arrive next week. I hope this resolves this design flaw on this new car.

You guys need call Honda corporate office and open a repair claim. 1-800-999-1009.

This issue is NOT fixed. This was a new car off the lot, 2013 Honda Accord and each day the noise got louder and louder - its appears the weather stripping is pulling away from door. Car has been back to dealer 5 times (there again today) in their attempt to fix. They have adjusted door, window and put on new molding for window none of this has solved the issue. I have driven other 2013 accords and while there is light noise, nothing close to what I am experiencing. Dealership (Howdy Honda) said this is the case on all 2013 accords, possible manufacturer defect.

Fully tapped door shut and solved the wind issue - so this has to be something with the seal/weather stripping on door, pulls away every time you open and close the door.
