DS rear brake rotor was gauged by the pads. Made a nasty sound. The excess wear on that side was due to a frozen PS rear caliper. My mechanic said that a frozen PS rear caliper is a common problem on this car. The parts are hard to get and it was in the shop for two days. A real PITA.

Brought the vehicle in for metal to metal scraping sound. Technician said he could not duplicate the problem. Problem persisted for me but Honda would not repair unless I could drive it in with the scraping happening. Brought it in for standard service and they discovered my brake pads have been stuck. Blaming it on me. I reminded them that I brought it in for the metal to metal scraping sound. They will not acknowledge it is their problem.

I have always heard that Hondas were great cars...long lasting and virtually trouble free. Not mine. EVERY time I have had my car in dealership they have told me either there was something wrong with it or soon something or another was going to go bad. I purchased the extended warranty, have done all work at the dealership where I purchased the car... the warranty (of course!) does not cover anything. How can a car need new brakes when it has less than 20,000 miles on it?! I will never buy another Honda. Can't wait to get rid of this one. AND the tire pressure light is on & won't go off, even after checking all tires. This light came on the last time I had it to the dealership.
