brake rotor warped

The front brake rotors warped causing significant vibration during light to moderate braking. This problem is particularly pronounced when the rotors started heating up after driving for a while. Also, while driving on downhill gradient the rotors heat up quickly causing the excessive vibration to the steering wheel. Even with the assistance of engine braking, the front rotors cannot keep up with downhill braking. This is a safety issue because I'm afraid if being pushed too far, I might lose braking which will be catastrophic failure. Honda should design a better braking system. For instance, 6 piston caliper in the front and 4 piston caliper in the rear. Also use high quality ventilated cross drilled rotors both for front and back to dissipate heat under heavy braking.

Unrealistic solution would be to have ceramic composite rotors which will cost as much as a Honda Accord. This is the brake system used in high-end supercars.

The realistic solution was to resurface the front rotors. Let's hope this problem will not appear in a while.
