My car just got 22,000 miles but has problems with the starter. I joined a forum of people who own same type of my car. There are many people has same problems with mine. Some lucky people got the problem when the car has 80,000 miles. Some unlucky people got the problem with the low miles on the car as me. I think Honda need to have a recall for starter problem of Honda Accord 13 model.

THE STEERING CONTINUED TO GET WORSE AND I HAS HAPPY TO HAVE THE TRAFFIC SLOW DOWN 20 MILES OUT OF SEASIDE TO BUMPER TO BUMPER. I BARELY GOT THE WHEEL TO TURN INTO MY DRIVEWAY AT OUR SEASIDE, OREGON HOME. I STARTED MY 'RESEARCH' TO SEE IF A RECALL HAD BEEN MADE ON MY CAR FOR POWER STEERING BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE DIED HITTING THE WALL OF DIRT AND TREES LEAVING THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE! I FOUND AN ARTICLE FROM 2014 THAT 374,000 PEOPLE HAD COMPLAINED OF THIS SAME PROBLEM. AND THAT YOU WERE INVESTIGATING BACK IN 2014! MY CAR ONLY HAS ABOUT 42,000 MILES ON IT AND THAT WAS THE TIME OF THEM GOING OUT ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLE. CARS EFFECTED WERE 2013-2017 HONDA ACCORDS EX. MINE IS THAT AND A V6. When I first purchased my 2013 Honda Accord from the dealership I noticed sometimes the push start would stall or sound like it was failing. Also my driver side door would not respond to my key fob. All other doors respond to it except the driver door. I have replaced the battery and still the issue hasn't been resolved. I have been taking the actual key out of the fob and inserting it into the car door to unlock my driver side door. Now the ac has began to stop and start. It almost sounds like the fan motor is kicking on and off. And my driver side seat is not sliding back properly. It will began to glide then stop. Then I have to keep pressing and it'll glide back a little and then stop again. Overall I think there is some sort of electrical shortage or something is happening with it. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration there was an electrical system recall sent out June 29, 2017. As stated on their website this could result in an electrical short increases the risk of a fire. The NHTSA campaign id is 17V418000 !

To begin with I've had to change my battery atleast 4 times(one time it exploded with battery acid)in the last 2 years. Also 6 different lights in the panel are on(brake/ABS/tire pressure/a steering wheel with an !/maintenance/power steering. I recently purchased 4 new tires from Firestone and got the car aligned the mechanic said he tried to reset the notification on the dashboard but it wouldn't turn off. I also had a family mechanic put it under the computer which diagnosed an electrical issue. Another issue the car is having is it short circuits my head lights when it rain, which means I'm replacing them almost monthly. The car tends to shake when its stopped but only if the ac is on. So in conclusion after reading this recall in credit karma I am sure my car needs to be repaired

Customer received notice of open recall17-069 previously affected vehicles recalled under 17-057 were temporarily repaired and now will have a new battery management sensor under this new bulletin technician inspected the battery sensor and if there is no countermeasures mark. Replaced the sensor. If there is a countermeasures mark the sensor is ok at this time. I'm still having problems with this recall under this 17-057 with a healthy starter, brand new battery and alternator parts job#3 at fps number 38920-T2A-AO4 description sensor.B36999 thxs hopefully Y'all will take care of this open recall that's stopping me, from enjoying my favorite car dealership jeff wyler from getting back and forth to work. Error: Keyless entry issue. Battery on both key fobs have been replaced with fresh batteries. This is a common problem on Honda Accord and Honda Pilot. This issue happens daily, even with key with-in 6 inches of ignition.. this issues 1st started occurring within 2.9 of when warranty went out. It was reported to dealer 1 day after warranty went out.

The car has intermittent starting issues. I have had the battery and alternator changed and checked and there appear to be no issues there. Online forums suggest that this is a endemic starter issue with Honda Accord. Sometimes the car will start with ease. Other times it will not start at all.
