Accord LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,000 miles

GOT MY CAR BACK AFTER GETTING IT FIXED FOR THE EPS. WHILE DRIVING MY CAR HOME, THE CAR STARTED VIBRATING. THIS IS A V6 ENGINE. MY CAR WAS DRIVING SMOOTHLY UNTIL WHATEVER THEY DID TO FIX THE EPS SYSTEM. NOW IT IS VIBRATING WHEN GOING OVER 4O MPH, AND WHILE SITTING STILL. I TOOK THE CAR BACK AND THE TECH SAYS THAT IT IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR IT IS SUPPOSE TO DO THAT.

I MIGHT BE A WOMAN BUT I AM NOT STUPID MY CAR WAS NOT DOING THIS BEFORE EVEN DROVE ANOTHER 2013 WITH THE TECH IN IT AND IT DID NOT VIBRATE. I LOVE MY CAR BUT THIS IS SCARING ME IT IS ONE THING AFTER THE NEXT WITH THIS CAR AND HONDA NEVER RETURNS YOUR CALL WHAT CAN YOU DO WHEN THE TECH SAYS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR CAR AND YOU KNOW IT IS.

motor shakes when i stop and have it on d and step on brake

I have had a Honda Accord 2013 for about one month. Every time I come to a stop at a traffic light, the motor starts vibrating and I can feel the shake all the way to my seat. When I have it on N or P, it doesn't shake. It only shakes when I have it on D and when I step on the brake. I took it to two different dealers, they said that it’s the way Honda built the car and it can not fixed. It so uncomfortable and annoying.

Update from Apr 23, 2013: I have had a Honda Accord 2013 for about one month. Every time I come to a complete stop at a traffic light, the motor starts vibrating and I can feel the shake all the way to my seat. When I turn on the head light or air conditioning, it doesn't shake. It only shakes when I have it on D and when I step on the brake. I took it to two different dealerships, and they said that it’s normal, that it's the way Honda built the car and it can not be fixed. It's so uncomfortable and annoying. I am not going to buy Honda product any more.

engine is not communicating w/transmission correctly, Purchased on October 20th, 2012 at Honda of Pasadena, CA. The nightmare begins. The man who washed my car during PDI, scratched up my brand new paint job. From what I say was the dealership's lack of investing in materials or careless worksmanship. Seeing this disaster, they attempted to cover up their foul actions, and also delaying me past sunset so it wouldn't be visible. I knew something was up. So I did my own inspection, and nevertheless, just as I suspected a flaw in the vehicle. I was outraged. I immediately ordered the execution of the contract and demanded a new car, with several other comments regarding their methods of so called "business." Anyway, I paid for the next 3 days that it took them to deliver my ride, which obviously I was on foot, yet they had a contract worth $36,000 signed by me. Now I get the car on the 22nd. Everything checks out. Now comes 500 miles. Ive treated it like a gem, never took it past 3,500 RPM, even in sport mode never seen 4,000 RPM. Rarely used "econ" in order to keep the system functioning, but to have the car break-in with all components in full function. Today at 5,500 miles, I'm speaking 5,000 miles ago, 1 oil change ago. The transmission and engine are in horrible condition. Exaggerated vibration from the engine, worsens when A/C is powered. The so called CVT feels like it downshifts and puts stress on the brake pads along with the engine and suspension. Im sure there's a lot more going on that I don't know with all this computerized drivetrain. Should've stuck to the traditional 5/6 speed automatic. Theres a noise that I hear from the steering column when it turns left or right. All the little cheap buttons vibrate from the bass. It's the so called "small issues" that result in this "complaint" a phrase which I reject, this is actually "honda not meeting standards and reputation set for the accord, therefore this is a FACTORY DEFECT and company failure of outstanding products and satisfaction on the customer's behalf." And my "personal experience and frustration of everyday's driving" and should be treated with upmost and complete dedication to resolve this issue.
