problem #1

Accord EX-L 4

Now this car is tossing an 'FCW Failure' at me. When it is in failure mode, I cannot accelerate. The car sputters and jerks. I've read that other vehicles of the same year are exhibiting the same symptoms. I brought it to the dealer and they charged the battery (?). This worked for a day but then the failure came back. I am not happy with the quality of this model year. I've been a loyal Honda owner for 2 decades.

Update from Mar 12, 2019: It turns out that the problem was a timing chain issue. Apparently, the chain stretched, disrupting the timing, which sent the computer into a failure mode The issue has been repaired, (lots of $$$$), but the manifestation was a lack of power during acceleration. Definite safety issue. My car is allegedly one of a few with this problem.
