This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
Hope the front suspension links problem I had after just 10000 km will not be a recurring one.

Plastic-sounding thunk/rattle coming from right front corner over pavement joints and bumps, primarily at low speeds under dry conditions. Seems more pronounced once car is warmed up. Car has been back to dealer twice. The first time they did not find anything wrong, but disassembled and re-assembled some panels near the A-pillar and reported the noise was gone. I heard the noise again the next day. Car is now back at dealer for further investigation.
Update from Jan 28, 2014: The dealership has now had my car for a total of 16 days. They called to say they could no longer hear anything, and asked if I could drive around with a technician. I did, and he finally heard the same noise I had been hearing. He had been trying to fix a different noise (which I have never heard). He said it sounded like a "dry bushing" and should be easy to fix.

The right front suspension was completely replaced by Crown Honda, Durham, NC, due to a squeal noise when turning left. It now makes a clunk noise when running over small dips in the road.
Update from Jan 17, 2013: Update as of Jan. 2013:
American Honda contacted me within days of sending the letter to them and assisted in getting repairs done at AutoPark Honda, Cary, NC. I have had my front passenger suspension parts replaced by AutoPark Honda, including the strut, which was found to have one of three studs broken at the top of the strut. The strut from the factory built car was not broken. The strut was replaced by Crown Honda in Nov. 2012 and the squeal and a new clunk noise persisted after their work. The strut was again replaced by AutoPark Honda in Dec. 2012. How did one of the studs get broken? You decide. So, as of Jan. 2013, all is well with the suspension.

My car was about 2 months past 3 yr warranty but under the mileage limit. The part was defective per the Honda invoice. This means it was defective from the date of manufacture but did not become evident until 3 years 2 months later. Still it was not covered under warranty. It surprised me that Honda would not cover he repair.
