When braking from 40+ mph to complete stop. The cvt transmission jerk/jump/surge forward. Feels like strong engine brake then cvt adjust to have a smooth stop. The jerk/jump/surge happens around 10 mph.
Update from May 17, 2013 went on a test drive with the mechanic today (he had the computer hooked up while we were driving) and found that the surge is felt when transmission solenoid B turns off. The tech is going to contact Honda technical support to see if they can help. Should be able to give another update in a few days.

Rough downshifting while coasting at low speed. This problem happens almost all the time. Let's say I'm approaching a red light at 20 mph. Press the brake and slow down gradually. When I reach 5-10 mph, the car tries to downshift to a lower gear and I feel the jerkiness of the transmission. Also, I tend to notice the clunking noise when this happens.
