Vehicle abs modulator failed this looks like known issue with multiple complaints on the site but no action is being taken this a huge safety hazard for all consumers. I have all lights on in my dashboard and I have realized my abs brakes failing numerous times while driving in slippery conditions. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD AND HONDA IS DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT! i bought a new VBS Mod - had it installed and it failed - wont 'neutralize'.

This problem started in July 2020. My garage told me the problem and contacted my warranty folks for coverage (along with another issue). They wouldn't cover it. So time went on. They told me I COULD drive it but to be careful. Finally I went directly to the CarMax place and had them go through warranty (March 2021). They said it was covered but it has been on backorder ever since. I call every other week and they have paid for it to the Honda dealer but no part yet.
Constant error warning 'fcw system failed' pops up while driving, many dash error lights turn on, and all ABS and VSA systems are deactivated. System will occasionally reset (like when I went to grab pictures) but minutes later the lights are all on - like a Christmas tree. They are saying ABS Modulator Assembly.
Now my brakes make a funny noise (they are saying related to this part), and my warranty has expired (July 14) so IF this doesn't work, then I am screwed. And I can't trade it in with this issue either, or I will get much less for it. I have had 4 Hondas previously and I have never had as many issues as I have had with this one - I have about 80,000 miles on it now.

Lights on dash at startup; go on and off while driving: ABS, brake, steering, LDW/AWD Fail, (and several other lights).
HS126: MIL Light on Dash test. Dealer said code 38-11 and requires ABS Modulator replacement. Vehicle is only at about 85,000 miles.
Honda should stand behind issue occurring below 100,000 miles and regular vehicle maintenance, city and highway driving normal. Talked to Honda customer service twice. Was told I would need to have extended warranty for coverage or within 3 years/36,000 miles, or the part on recall, which it isn't.
I also had starter go bad around 40,000 miles. Paid $565 for repair & Honda paid a few hundred. 2013 Accord had starter recall, so this issue on 2014 Accord at lower mileage was suspicious.

My cousin bought the same vehicle as I did, same make and model. I am more of a driver so I got to 100k way before my cousin did my car started having ABS issues. Went to Honda they advised the abs module is not working. Needs to be replaced but don’t have the item to fix it. Not under warranty so it’s gonna cost over 2k to get a new module.
The funny thing is this car has multiple issues. The battery always dies within 2 years I have changed the battery 3 times and have had this vehicle only 6 years! Changed alternator battery constant. Honda isn’t built like they were 10 years ago. I feel like this car might not make it like other Honda’s. Called the company and they don’t care. They said it’s the drivers fault except it’s happening to multiple people in the world.
