The eps, brake, and ABS lights came on when I started the car and would not go off. We took the car to our mechanic who after doing diagnostics told us we need to take our car to a Honda dealer and not drive any more than we had to for safety reasons. The dealer determined it was the vsa modulator and cost $1788.78 to repair. Really disgusted with Honda as I read online where there have been several other Honda owners with the same problem yet there is still no recall on this problem!

Been having electrical problems since we got the car. Year 3 we needed new starter, new back up camera. This year driver's window would work only work some of the time. In June when I started all the dashboard lights came on with ABS system power failure warning. It would go on and off as I drove. Then the car started jerking as it was driven and finally stayed on and was on everytime we started. Needs a new modulator-control unit which is $1,400 and has been backordered since mid June. Haven't been able to drive car, and I can't renew registration because it won't pass va safety inspection.

While driving on the expressway 08-18-2020 3 lights appeared out of nowhere on the dashboard, the TPMS, electronic power steering & vehicle stability assist warning lights. My child & I felt the vehicle swerve & I manage not to hit a cement wall or oncoming traffic, but instantaneously noticed my vehicle felt different. After just having a 21-pt inspection at john Eagle houston & paying almost 1,000 for front & rear brake pads & other mechanical issues, surely I would've thought the dealership could've told me this or warned me it was going to fail. Anyways, after replacing all 4 tires, I thought this would eradicate the issue, but it didn't. I took it back to john Eagle houston, only to be told that the yaw rite went out. I read up on this before heading to the dealership & during the 2 hour wait & according to carcomplaint.com & NHTSA they're many 2014 Honda Accord owners who have experienced this same issue & have paid over $1,500+ to fix this & the worst part is the part is on backorder & won't be in for 2 months! so, you have faulty cars on the roads that can possibly injure people. Honda will have blood on their hands! this is clearly a safety recall, but I know not guess revenue is more imperative than human life! what will it take" preventive death" this can be prevented, there's still time. Everyone doesn't have the money & those who don't will just ride with their dashboard's lights lit like the month of December. This is horrible.

We have an intermittent problem with the car starting. We found an online thread on the subject with workaround tricks. Sometimes putting the car in neutral and starting it from there works, but not consistently. What works most often is turn key one notch, wait 3 seconds, turn again and wait until lights go away, then again and then it starts. What is this issue" is there a recall that can fix this issue"

While driving the vehicle at low speeds on city streets the electronic power steering, vehicle stability assist, forward collision warning, antilock braking system, lane departure warning and parking brake indicator lights all activated. I took the vehicle to my mechanic who diagnosed a faulty vsa modulator control unit, Honda part # 57110-T2G-L02. When we attempted to order the part we were informed that the part is backordered with no expected release date. That was June 2, 2020. Today is June 22, 2020 and I called Honda again with the same result. I believe the warning indicators are accurately communicating that these safety systems are offline and am not driving the vehicle until I can repair it. It seems unreasonable and unsafe that Honda cannot provide a replacement for such a crucial safety-related part.

While driving the car at 65 miles per hour, vehicle auto braked suddenly causing car from behind to near miss my rear of my vehicle. Car the alarmed on ABS, stability control, lane departure, forward collision, adaptive cruise, braking, power steering, vehicle stability and hill start problem. Took car to middletown Honda of NY. Dealer identified problem as vsa module failure. Cost to replace is $1550 plus labor. Vsa module failure is a common problem and should be identified as a safety recall. Car that nearly hit me was driven by off duty police officer who was not happy. Took car immediately to dealer for service. Dealer did not have part to correct problem. Dealer demanded that car remain at dealer due to being unsafe to drive. Dealer was kind enough to give me a loaner car until repairs can be made. This is a serious safety issues!

The yaw sensor went out on the stability control system, out taking everything with it'ABS, stability control, forward collision, lain watch, and the power staring monitor. You could feel the ABS motor working for no reason even without braking. Honda replaced the ABS control module to fix the problem. My concern is as expensive as it was, I'm worried others will not be able to afford the fix and we will have other cars out there without the basic safety systems in place.

3 lights illuminated on my dash, traction control, power steering, and TPMS. Dealer says its the ABS module. At only 53,000 miles, I believe this is premature failure. Poor design on Honda behalf. Same with the small oem battery Honda puts in these vehicles. Also failed prematurely. Honda needs to issue recall for ABS module. Vehicle was in park and took 5 attempts to start the vehicle, vehicle would start and stall, after 5 attempts vehicle stayed on with 3 warning lights and was able to drive away.

I took my car to Honda dealership 2 weeks ago.they reprogram a key and replace a recall sensor, so I was told. They also did a system update.since then I have had multiple issue with my car. 1st was a charging system warning, which I thought was my alternator or battery, but they said was nothing. Three days ago I got into my car to start it and it would not start stated " fcw system failed" after 3 attempts its started but acceleration would not respond. Rmp stayed below 2000 even with my foot deep on the gas pedal. I turn the car off and let it sit for for 20 mins, then it accelerator came back. But fwc and all service lights stayed on. Wake up the next day all lights went away like nothing had happened. Today I was driving home and the acceleration occur again. While on the high way it would not respond. Made it home safe. As I was about to get in my car again it would not start. Car has power but is not starting. At one point of trying to start my mph gaged was flicking, even after I release the start button. Ive read many reports by customers having the same issue with the fwc fail as well as the starter system. Base on my research it seems that only Honda Accord 2014 having this issue. Honda cant seem to find the source of the problem and this is bad. Whatever the cause may be Honda needs to find a solution to this. I was left stranded with no help and no one to call on. Because one moment my car was driving like the 2014 car it is and next it was not.

3 dashboard lights appear illuminated on dashboard all at once while driving the car, these three lights that remain illuminated include 1) anti-lock brake system (ABS) light, 2) vehicle stability control system (vsc) light, and 3) electric power steering light. Honda dealer told me that the ABS modulator needs to be replaced and that my car was not under warranty anymore (3yrs or 36K miles). The quote I recieved to replace the ABS modulator from the Honda dealership was $1,700. I decided to google ABS modulator for Honda Accord to see if there were other Accord owners that have a similar issue. Upon search from youtube and Honda forums, I found there to be other owners that have the same problem with 3 lights illuminated (ABS, vsc and electric power steering) and the repair cost if not under warranty can range from $1,300 to as high as $2,000 from what I saw other Honda Accord owners to report. I feel as though Honda is not taking responsibility to repair this outside of the warranty and feel as though they sold me a dysfunctional car. I feel compelled to write this complaint because my car value is 10K and to repair the ABS modulator I would have to fork up nearly 20% of my cars value for an electrical issue that was perhaps faulty design on Honda part. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you investigate it further.

To whom it may concern, I've been reviewing several website's where car owners of 2014 Honda Accord sedan's has reported where the ignition will not turn over when you insert their key. I have to turn my key and take it out at least 5 times in over for the ignition to turn over. This is a major concern for my especially if I'm stranded. I was in my parking garage on 11/19/18 at 5:30pm where my car will not start. I had to take my key out and insert it in the ignition for about 5 times before it turnover. My car has had its routinely check ups and I'm not sure as to why this is happening all or suddenly. I'm noticing that this has been happen for about 2 months. When I taken my car to my local dealership- duval Honda on casset ave and they stated that no one has reported this issue. However I have review plenty of complaints of the similar issue that I'm having.

On 24 August 2018, several lights came on in the dash, to include the the fcw, ldw, brakes and power steering. I took the vehicle to Honda and was told that my vsa modulator may need to be replaced. They reset it and told me that if the lights come back on, I would definitely need to get it replaced. Needless to say, the lights came back on 2 hours later. I called the dealership and was told they had to order the part, which was $1400 +tax and labor. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be investigated.

While driving on a highway (2014 Honda Accord, 42000 mile) warning lights for brakes, elec. Stability control (vsa vehicle stability assist), power steering, and abc came on and stayed on for while. They started then to go away for a few miles then stay on most of the time. The car ABS system started acting up when braking and ABS does not engage. I had it checked at the dealer on August 21, 2018 and they indicated that the vsa modulator needs replacement and it is communicating with other systems and components and causing all 4 warning lights to come on. They said the repair will cost $1565. This failure is very premature for such a car than had only 42,000 miles at the time it occurred.

Randomly the ABS, brake, traction, and steering wheel indicators appeared after starting the car and moving in motion to go to the store. No warnings preceded. After being checked by a mechanic, it was diagnosed as having a bad modulator. The indicator light continues to pop up each trip. Since having the car, the starter was replaced less than a year ago.

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. While driving approximately 50 mph, the vehicle stability assist, tire pressure, power steering, and anti-lock braking system warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to metro Honda (540 New Jersey 440, jersey city, NJ) where the technician refused to repair the failures because the contact did not want to pay for the repairs. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failures recurred. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist because the vehicle was not under warranty. The vehicle was not diagnosed because the contact did not want to pay for both the diagnostic and repair cost. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
