Accord Sport

I will not buy another Honda in my life. I have been a Honda owner of 3 cars now. Never again, cheap parts and I may just go with Subaru in my next car. Door actuator broke, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM IN ANY OTHER CAR. I see here that there are many others with the same problem. Shame on you Honda. My revenge is to never go back and buy any of your cars or recommended and will knock them off to friends and family members whenever I get a chance.

Accord LX 4 cyl

  • CVT transmission

Three out of four door actuators are not working anymore, including the one repaired by dealer just 1 year ago. Honda does not even care about it, I am told that I had a choice to buy extended warranty. This is the most stupid answer I received from Honda Customer Care. Never again I will touch any Honda product. The parts they using are of poor quality, it is no longer a Honda from years ago.

3 of 4 door actuators failure

There must a problem with the door actuators on my 2014 Honda Accord. Right side rear passenger door actuator failed about 1 year ago and was repaired by Honda dealer, now 2 more actuators failed, 1 on front passenger door and 1 on rear left passenger. Honda refuses to acknowledge the problem, claiming I should have bought extended warranty. Honda just lost a customer, I will never buy Honda again. Their corporate customer service is arrogant bunch of folks. The car is just little over 3 years old and this issue is not coincident.

Doing some research on this problem, it seems this is on going problem with Honda, and recently they even settled class action suit with similar problem on Honda CR-V.
