Accord Touring V6

I have 2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring. The Engine Air Intake does not have a screen that covers the intake to prevent vermin from getting in to the air filter and building a home. Would a screen cause issues with the appropriate amount of air getting to the engine most likely not. If it would put an added cost to the vehicle I would gladly pay it to not have mice building nests in my car.
