This is one of multiple complaints. I always wanted a Honda Accord because of the reputation. I got one used from a Honda dealership in 2016. My current complaint is that the camera just suddenly stopped working. I looked for fixes. I tried unplugging the battery. I tried resetting to factor default. Finally I took it to the same dealership. They cannot find what is wrong, so the default is that the camera needs to be replaced. That is $434. Because the trim is somewhat crappy, I would also need to pay $179 for trunk trim clips to remount after removing to replace the camera. I am 4000 miles past the extended warranty that came with the certified vehicle. Due to the other complaints that I have (uncomfortable seats, front end easily detaches), I have not decided whether to pay to replace. I may just suck up the loss and trade it in. I do love the blind side camera, and interest rates have gone up.

Honda puts in crappy cameras into their cars, and in less than 3 years the camera starts to fail intermittently. Then a few months after the warranty expires the camera completely dies. Honda doesn't want to do anything to fix it. I have a time stamp video showing the camera messing up before the warranty expired. Honda should recall this camera. Unless Honda does something to fix this---> I will not be buying another Honda product.
